The South Florida Collective Church Planters Cohort exists to equip and walk alongside leaders called to plant healthy, disciple-making churches across Palm Beach, Broward, and Miami-Dade counties.

Whether you are actively planting or discerning your call to church plant, this multi-month cohort provides spiritual formation, practical training, coaching, and a community of local leaders committed to seeing the gospel take root throughout South Florida.

Each gathering includes lunch, prayer, and a time to celebrate and support church planters. Guest speakers share wisdom and practical insights on church planting, while dedicated sessions highlight progress, address challenges, and foster collaboration to help planters grow in their mission.

2025-2026 church planters' cohort

Our goal is to create a collaborative learning environment that encourages, equips, and strengthens both current and aspiring church planters.

curriculum-based

Our cohort will use a variety of curriculums (Acts 29, Leaders Collective, City to City, LFM, et al), which provide foundational training on church planting, leadership, and community engagement.

Each session will offer structured learning opportunities and discussions led by seasoned leaders, allowing planters to gain insights and develop practical skills.

online learning platform

In between the monthly sessions, cohort participants will walk through online-based learning modules, focused on collaborative learning and specific action items.

community building

These cohorts are designed to encourage relationships and a supportive network among planters, which is essential for facing the unique challenges of church planting.

CHURCH PLANTERS RETREAT

A look back at our Fall 2025 Church Planters Retreat in Orlando, FL.

In October 2025, South Florida Collective had the privilege of hosting several church planters for a retreat weekend in Orlando, FL. The weekend comprised of times of learning, relationship development, prayer, and of course, relaxation and rejuvenation. Special thanks to all the guest speakers and local church planters, pastors, and ministry leaders that sacrificed their time to pour into our cohort of church planters.
